Sometime's it's hard to decide! If you've been eyeing the incredible FitBit Activity Trackers, but can't decide which one you should get, this post is for you. We had a hard time, too. We ultimately went with the FitBit Flex, because of the goal setting feature. This allows you to set fitness and health goals for yourself, to help hold you and your health accountable! We need the extra push sometimes, to get motivated, so the goal setting feature is what sold us. But, if you still can't decide which FitBit to buy, here's some more information on each one to help point out the amazing features of each of these tiny fitness friends:
This Activity Tracker can be worn as a bracelet, so it is with you at all times. With the ability to set goals, it is a constant reminder to get up and move! The tiny lights on the side show you how close you are to your goal for the day with each light representing 20% of your daily fitness goal. It's constant motivation!
With the ability to be worn as a bracelet, FitBit Flex easily tracks your sleep, including how many hours you sleep, how many times you woke up during the night, and ultimately how efficient your sleep actually was. In our busy world today, the importance of getting enough sleep has been lost, but the FitBit Flex will help improve your health by helping you get a better night's rest.
The only downside we can find about the FitBit Flex, is that even though you wear it like a watch, it doesn't tell time. So, if you're walking, running, or wondering how many more minutes are left of Zumba Class, it can't help you. But, this little Activity Tracker can do A LOT, and will help you keep moving, and motivate you to move along the road to better health!
The FitBit One is missing the ability to set goals, but it does have two things the FitBit Flex does not: It can track how many floors you have climbed, and it tells time! If you're goal is to do more walking, and take more steps, you always try to take the stairs, right? Well, the FitBit flex allows you to track just how many of those stairs you climbed, and how many calories climbing those stairs helped you burn! Pretty cool! It straps on to your waistband, bra, or wherever you feel comfortable, and even has a wristband you can attach it to at night to track your sleep. This little fitness tracker has it all! If your fitness goals are to just get moving, and take more steps, this FitBit activity tracker is for you.
The FitBit Zip is nice and simple, but packed with so much more than your typical pedometer. It not only tracks steps taken and distance, it also tracks your calories burned, AND it syncs wirelessly with your computer. Zip™ automatically syncs your data to PCs, Macs, many iOS devices and select Android phones. That means no buttons to push, no data to enter. Just real-time access to your stats and the Fitbit dashboard, 24/7. You can even register and pair your Fitbit devices via select smartphones – including certain Androids. So simple!
So, if you're still having a hard time deciding which FitBit to buy, take a minute to write down your goals. Are you concerned about sleep habits? Do you need extra motivation? How many steps do you want to take every day? Whatever those goals are, there's a FitBit for you!
