Day to Night
One of my favorite aspects of the Funktional Wearables line is not only how they disguise fitness trackers, but they are also very versatile. This weekend, I went to Little Italy in San Diego with my parents and also to one of my friend’s graduation parties. I wore my Silver Sloan bracelet to both occasions, and I was so impressed by how well it transitioned from a casual day look to a more dressy night look.
For the afternoon brunch in Little Italy, I wore a white pleated shirt with distressed high-waisted shorts. The embroidery is my own; a hot air balloon on one side and sunflowers on the other. I like to mix more sophisticated pieces with distressed items for a nice casual contrast. The Sloane added to that contrast with its sleek geometric structure and completed the overall eclectic outfit. For a little extra color, I wrapped a kimono-patterned headband around my head and added the ends to my bun.
For the dressier grad party, I selected a pink and coral ombre high-low dress. I believe everyone should have a comfortable dress that can be dressed up or dressed down. The Sloane bracelet definitely dressed up the dress. Its slight reflective quality highlighted the changing colors of the dress, which I really liked. As it is very much a statement bracelet, I kept it simple with only a few other accessories.
This week, I am headed up to Lake Tahoe with my family to camp in a tent for two weeks. And I’m bringing my Funktional Wearables! I’ll be posting about my adventures for the next two weeks, so stay tuned.
